Tamzin Outhwaite has had many ups and downs in her love life, but has eventually found love with boyfriend Tom Child.
Former soap star Tamzin, 51, was previously married to Tom Ellis, 43, for over eight years and the pair welcomed two children together, before announcing their separation in 2013.
However, Tamzin and current boyfriend Tom, 30, are as loved-up as ever having recently celebrated their fourth anniversary together.
Here we take a look into their romance…
The actress, 48, opened up about her new beau Tom Child, 28, and said that she’s happier than ever after meeting him at a London yoga studio three years ago.
Speaking with Source at her Cotswolds home, Tamzin said: ‘I’m not a scorned woman. I’m ridiculously happy and my marriage ended a very long time ago.
‘I’m not closed off to the idea of marrying again, even though it didn’t end perfectly last time.’
Mother-of-two Tamzin has been with her new partner for two years, and he now lives with her and her daughter’s Florence, 11, and Marnie, seven, in London.
Tamzin and Tom, a filmmaker, met at a yoga class back in 2017, and romance instantly blossomed.
The couple recently marked their four year anniversary with a series of loved-up snaps online, providing a rare insight into their usually private relationship.
Despite their age gap, Tamzin said people don’t tend to mention it after they see the couple are clearly content.
However Tamzin admitted: ‘I did initially question whether a 20-year age difference would work but we couldn’t stay away from each other.’
Tamzin gushed over her boyfriend, writing: “My beautiful partner in crime, my best friend, lover and surprise in life. Thank you for going with it and allowing our love to blossom against all odds. Who would have thought that we would still be loving four years in.
“The last four years has provided me with a lifetime of love that I didn’t know existed. Thank you for being a wonderful lover and even better step dude.
“A KIND Partner is the most important attribute .. Men do not come better than you.”
While the pair remain infatuated with one another, Tamzin has previously said they have no plans to tie the knot.
Her new relationship comes after splitting with ex Tom Ellis, 40, in 2014.
They were together for nine years before divorcing following reports he had been unfaithful.
Their marriage is said to have ended after the actor admitted to cheating on Tamzin with Lost actress Emilie de Ravin.
But soap star Tamzin said in a 2015 interview with Essentials Magazine that there was more to the split than just an act of infidelity.
She said at the time: ‘I wouldn’t not be with my husband over a one-night stand is all I’ll say.’
Ahead of Tom’s wedding in July, Tamzin posted a picture on Instagram which read: ‘If you have been brutally broken but still have the courage to be gentle to other living beings, then you’re a bad ass with a heart of an angel.’
New beau Tom shared the post with the caption ‘Amen’, but Tamzin insists that she wasn’t making a dig at her ex ahead of his wedding to a new partner.
In June, Tamzin’s ex Tom tied the knot with Meaghan Oppenheimer in a romantic woodland ceremony in Santa Ynez.
The couple wedded in front of their loved ones at the Grassini Family Winery, a beautiful vineyard on Genuine Risk Road nestled in Happy Canyon.
Having previously stated she would not remarry following her divorce, Tamzin more recently revealed that she doesn’t see a “need” to marry now, stating: “I feel free and it’s lovely”.
She also explained how she doesn’t want anymore children, and that Tom is also in agreement with her on that. The actress is mum to two daughters, Florence 13, and Marnie, 9, with her former husband.
Tamzin told The Source: “I’ve got two. I’ve really got to keep my eye on the ball keeping these two well, alive and healthy. I’m not having any more. No way. I’m done.”
She told how she wouldn’t deny Tom’s wishes to have children if he wanted to, but it would definitely prompt her to end their romance.
Tamzin was married to actor Tom Ellis from 2006 until 2014, after meeting through mutual pal James McAvoy.
They announced their split in 2013, and have continued to co-parent their two daughters ever since.
