Argos and GAME are set to drop massive PlayStation 5 update with restocks expected very soon very soon, according to stock trackers.
Last week, some retailers dropped surprise restocks that sold out as fast as they were announced, with both Very and AO going live with a limited amount of consoles.
Following the quick sell out of PS5’s from PlayStation Direct this morning, this news will come as a delight for those shoppers who have so far been unable to get their hands on the coveted console.
This week’s PS5 restock is set to come from high street retailer Argos, as the PS5 Stock tracker has confirmed that the latest drop from them will be around November 18-19 – which is only a few days away.
The announcement comes after the retailer delayed going live with their restock, despite receiving a small shipment of disc and digital editions earlier last week.
Twitter account PS5 Stock UK wrote: “A massive #PS5 drop is expected by Argos around 18th-19th Nov.
“Multiple shipments have been received, both Disc & Digital Editions, making it the largest PS5 drop by Argos since launch. Should be an 8am drop, as usual, in-store & online.”
History tells us that Argos always launches their PS5 restocks from 8am, so, if you haven’t already gotten your hands on one, then you might want to be up bright and early this Thursday just in case.
If the Argos restock proves to be unsuccessful, then there is some more good news as GAME is expected to go live with its November restock later this month.
The PS5 Stock Tracker confirmed that the games retailer has updated their stock dates to November 25, which has also been confirmed on their website.
Writing on Twitter, the tracker account wrote: “The release date of PS5 consoles has been updated to 25/11, indicating a stock drop at some point next week.
“We’ll let you know once we find out the priority orders delivery date which will give us a better indication of what the drop day could be.”
GAME’s restock includes both disc and digital PS5 bundles that shoppers will be able to pre-order when they go available, hopefully, late next week.
Fans will notice that both Argos and GAME’S restock comes at an unusually busy time for the PlayStation 5, with quite a few retailers dropping surprise restocks during this month.
This could be down to Sony hiring extra jumbo jet planes to get more consoles into the UK for Black Friday and Christmas, which is when shoppers will be hoping to finally get one.
With both Argos and GAME’s PS5’s restocks about to drop soon, now would be a good time to keep an eye on the PS5 Stock UK Twitter account for any further announcements and updates.
