Fix #2: Disable Background App
The most effective way to stop your iPhone battery from draining rapidly is to disable the Background App Refresh feature on iOS. Background App Refresh lets apps running on your iPhone keep track of new information while running in the background if you believe that an application affects your battery life in a significant way.
To deactivate background app refresh on iOS, Open your Settings App on your iPhone and select General.
On the next page, choose from the Background Application Refresh option.
